School cafeterias

School cafeterias vary greatly Elementary,middle and Highschool have the least of the good food. I remember eating in the school cafeteria and there were not too many things that I liked. College cafeterias have better food. U Of F had some delicious pancakes. They were almost the size of the plate that they served them on. I remember visiting my sister and having breakfast there. We had pancakes and they were huge. School cafeterias are also used for kids who bringtheir own lunch which is what I did for most of my schooling.

sleeping in

I would like 1 day of sleeping in. I get up early in

the morning to do this job. I will sleep in just a bit on Christmas day, that is a day that it is hard to sleep in. I will

be starting work later after Christmas though.

I get tired during the day.

Minnie Mouse Santa hat

I have a minnie mouse Santa hat I have been

wearing this Christmas season. I have had many

compliments on it. I like the hat, especially on

cold mornings. It keeps any wind out of my ears.

Minnies ears probably get plenty of wind. I do

not want the cold wind blowing through my ears.

People think thehat is cute. it is fun to wear this

hat. People need to wear festive clothes. It

helps put you in the spirit. Peope’s moods

some times change when they see others

in a holiday spirit. It depends on who you

are though. I like Christmas, so it is easy for

me. If you don’t celebrate the day, you can

still enjoy the life that surrounds you. So, I

will wear Minnie a few more times before

putting the hat away.

Storage space

It is always nice to have lots of good storage

space. We accumulate a lot of stuff in our lifetime.

Some people have more storage space than

others. We have a guest bedroom we use for

some of our storage space. We also have a storage

closet. This is nice to have. We put many boxes

in there that we did not need to unpack. I know people in my family, who have some ample storage places.

You can rent storage spaces also to help with

your storage space. If you have too much to

store, it is time for a yard sale.

Tile and carpeted floors

There are tile and carpeted floors in my apt. I live down stairs, so the main part of our place is a concrete flooring. You have to really be care ful about dropping anything, because it shatters it and goes every where. Our bedrooms are carpeted. Upstairs apts. are carpeted, except for the kitchen, which is linoleum. They picked too light of a color carpeting. It shows all of the stains. They should choose a darker color that does not show the stains.  You can hear some of the noise upstairs. My young neighbor runs around, but it does not bother me. He is 5, what do you expect? They did not really insulate these well. We can hear noise from neighboring apartments as well. All in all, it’s an okay community. We wanted a downstairs. We almost got an upstairs.

Chopsticks

People use chopsticks to eat Chinese food with. There is a certain way in which you hold chopsticks. I found it tricky to use them. My husband likes to use them some times. He asked me for them when we were having chines food one night. I kept a set so that we could have them to use. Chopsticks have been around or a long time. I think you hold them between your first finger and thumb. If you get a chance to try them, It is a good food eating experience, if you can use them effectively.

Special days

There are many special days each year for people. Our holidays are always nice for every one. Depending on who you are, you might have a special day coming up in the next year. We all have birthdays and the special days of the year, such as Valentine’s day or the annual holidays. Some people might have a wedding planned or expecting a baby, which is great. Our special days can help us make it through the year also. We have some thing to look forward to rather than just the typical days that we have. I have had many special days. My wedding was very special to me. My family has had many special days which I got to share in. The births in our two families were great to be able to be around for. We have a first birthday in 2009 for our youngest nephew, jason. This will be a great time or all. Some special days are private for people. it is only for certain people to know about.

Bachelor parties

Before a groom to be gets married, the best man traditionally throws him a bachelor party. There are many places these are thrown. There are many types of Bachelor parties. I heard of one where they went to the Bahamas. I heard they play cards and have interesting entertainment. This is their last big fling before they enter matrimony. Bachelor parties, like other parties range in many price tags. They can be modestly priced, to the whole shooting match of a huge expense. But, they need this last night with the guys. A bride to be can have a Bachelorette party as her last big fling before she is married. Bachelorette parties have not been around as long, but they can be fun too. I know some one in my family who took a short cruise. This would be the best place to have one. So party, and enjoy if you are having one of these.

Baby showers

Baby showers are given to a woman prior to having a baby. These are fun and a good time for family and friends to get together with the prospect of the arrival of the new little one coming soon. Mom’s to be can register at different stores for gift ideas. This prevents duplication, of at least the big items. You can never have enough of the small items, such as bibs, pacifiers and many other small every day needed items. Baby showers can be very simple, just a few or at a little fancy kind of a place. I have been to some nice family baby showers. Mom’s to be like knowing that they are some what prepared for the ne arrival. They are usually done about a month before the arrival, unless the baby surprises every one and comes early, which happens a lot. I have used registries, but I mostly pick out what i know they will need. Baby shower games are played, such as scrambled words. This is one of my favorites.
